| Agriculture | Photography Cuba is a photographer's dream come true. When one arrives in Cuba, you step into a World where time has stopped in the 1950s. There is a conspicuous absence of commercial roadsigns or modern means of transportation. Old Havana (Habana Vieja) has been officially designated by the United Nations as a World Heritage Site in 1982. A panoramic view of Havana can be obtained from atop the Granma Memorial or any high-rise hotel in Havana. The traveler is encouraged to wander the Malecon and streets of old Havana from dawn to early morning hours to capture the colonial architecture in varying moods. California Cuba and its affiliates have an extensive photo collection of Cuba. Please contact us for more details. Photographers should ask permission prior to taking photos of people or businesses in Cuba. Under no circumstances should photos be taken of police or military personnel or facilities. Photos of airport facilities are also discouraged by Cuban authorities.
