| Agriculture | Dance Dance in Cuba takes many forms. From classic ballet through the genius of Alicia Alonso to dance forms considered original to Cuba: rumba, mambo, merengue, cha cha, etc. Discos are also popular in Cuba. While in Havana, it is easy to simply observe Cuban dance as a part of the cabaret performances at the Tropicana or Cabaret Parisien at Hotel Nacional. If you want to try your dance steps in a less formal setting, the Macumba Havana nightclub near Jose Marti Airport is the place to go. Macumba is Portugese for "sanctuary" and is associated with the Brazilian version of Cuban Santeria.
